Eating nuts lowers heart attacks and strokes

Eating nuts at least twice a week lowers your chances of dying from a heart attack or stroke 17%.  Nuts should be fresh and unsalted as rancid oils in older nuts are harmful.  Nuts include such nuts as almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts, and seeds, but not peanuts.

Never too old to build muscle

In comparing athletes in their 70's to couch potatoes of the same age, it has been found that both groups build muscle equally well with the same exercise.  So even if you have never exercised a day in your life, you can build muscle and improve your health right now.  It is never too late.

Plant based diet risk: choline

Every thought you think is because of choline in the form of the main neurotransmitter acetylcholine.  There are no good plant sources of choline.  You need about half a gram a day and the best plant source is nuts, which have an average of 55 mg per 100 grams.  That means you would have to eat two pounds of nuts a day to meet your choline needs.  Restricted choline has been sited as a main benefit to a Vegan diet because of the association of dietary choline and the formation of TMAO, associated with heart disease.  However when choline was given to vegetarians they did not form TMAO.  So just like vitamin B12, choline is a must have in supplemental form for Vegans or else your brain stops working.

Our address is  9725 Fair Oaks Blvd. suite A
Our hours are M - F 10 to 3:30

Finding the new location is very easy.  Coming from highway 50 up Sunrise Blvd, you turn left and go up a block.  We are on the right hand side - the building just past the Subway Sandwich shop.  If you are coming down Sunrise from the Mall area then just turn right on Fair Oaks Blvd and up a block on the right.

If you are coming from the Roseville area you could come down Sunrise Blvd, but that is a long trek.  It is probably shorter time wise to come down Auburn Blvd - San Juan Ave like you have been for the Sunset office, but instead of turning left at Sunset, keep going straight 3 more lights to Fair Oaks Blvd and turn left.  Go down 2 lights to New York Ave, go through the intersection, and immediately turn into the turn lane once the center divider ends.  We are on the left.
