Concussion blood test

A concussion can cause severe debilitating symptoms for a long time.  They trigger an inflammatory cycle of destruction in the glial cells that support and protect the brain.  Natural anti-inflammatory like curcumin can help, but diagnosing concussion is very difficult.  A new blood test is over 96% accurate and results can be obtained in only 4 hours.

Old blood pressure drug could stop type 1 diabetes

Sometimes a drug that has been around for a long time is discovered to have a completely new use.  This is the case for a old blood pressure drug called methyldopa.  Phase 1 human trials have shown promising results, and a larger study is being assembled.  If that pans out this could also be useful for many different autoimmune diseases.

Stem cells for strokes

800,000 people are struck with a stroke each year with 140,000 resulting in death.  The rest of the folks are left with some level of disability due to the destroyed brain tissue.  Stem cells are two large to cross the blood brain barrier to repair the damaged tissue, but tiny structures called exosomes released by stem cells can cross.  New treatments using exosomes are showing excellent improvements with up to 30% of the damaged tissue being repaired.

Our address is  9725 Fair Oaks Blvd. suite A
Our hours are M - F 9 to 1 and M, Tu, & Th 3 to 6

Finding the new location is very easy.  Coming from highway 50 up Sunrise Blvd, you turn left and go up a block.  We are on the right hand side - the building just past the Subway Sandwich shop.  If you are coming down Sunrise from the Mall area then just turn right on Fair Oaks Blvd and up a block on the right.

If you are coming from the Roseville area you could come down Sunrise Blvd, but that is a long trek.  It is probably shorter time wise to come down Auburn Blvd - San Juan Ave like you have been for the Sunset office, but instead of turning left at Sunset, keep going straight 3 more lights to Fair Oaks Blvd and turn left.  Go down 2 lights to New York Ave, go through the intersection, and immediately turn into the turn lane once the center divider ends.  We are on the left.
