Newsletter Feedback
Hi ,
I need your feedback. A patient last week said to me that my weekly articles were too long. She loved the information in them, but they just took too long to read. If this is true for most of you then I need to make my articles shorter. My goal is to present useful health information to you on a regular basis. But I never stopped to ask whether the amount of information I
presented met the sweet spot of just enough to communicate a clear idea without overloading you with unnecessary details.
After eight years of weekly newsletters, this may seem like kind of late in the game to be asking such questions, but we get what we get when we get it. So I would like you to email me with the answers to a few questions to guide me in the future:

1. Is the amount if information I present
Too much
Just right
Not enough
2. I read the three ‘current health news’ article reviews after the main article
Yes
No
3. I like the personal section on Ellen and what not
Yes
No
4. I like recipes for low lectin paleo/ketogenic foods
Yes
No
5. I like the abundant pictures illustrating the articles
Yes
Would prefer just one picture at the top
Would prefer no pictures
6. One article a week is
Too often
Just right
Not enough

If you have other comments please send your replies to david@fairoakshealth.com
I appreciate all the positive feedback I get from you at the office when you tell me how much you love the newsletter. Now, how can I make it better for you? Of course I am going to get back a wide variety of responses. So I will be looking for what will serve the greatest number the best. Any other ideas you have or things you have seen on other blogs or newsletters you especially like, please pass them
along.

One thing I know I am way behind on is posting these articles on my website. This is just a matter of having the free time to do this as the coding and cloud tagging consumes a fair amount of time.
My belief is that only you can be the ultimate authority in choosing your diet and lifestyle. Only you can feel from the inside what works for you and what is not working. Optimum health is not the only consideration. Social connections, time restraints, stress, money considerations, emotional drives, and personal motivations all figure into your health decisions. I have no impact on these important factors
nor should I. My job is just to give you the best quality information I can from the cutting edge science available along with my personal insights and opinions. You can use this to help you make the best decisions that work for you in the balance of all the factors we each have to deal with.
Thanks for your interest in my newsletter.
Take care,
David
Ellen update:

Ellen had to have two teeth extracted this last week - not much fun. Once home I put her on a pulsing electro-magnetic field generator to speed the healing of the traumatized tissue. Her dentist extracted some of her blood and spun it down to pull out growth factors from the blood to put into the empty tooth sockets to also speed jaw healing. Between these two modalities we
should see Ellen's jaw heal up nicely. In fact she had no swelling the following morning and no pain .

Using viruses to kill resistant bacteria
The first bacterial infection that was resistant to every antibiotic killed a patient last year here in America. Superbugs are coming and we have nothing to stop them, except maybe viruses. Yes, there are good guy viruses that only infect bacteria. In fact there are more of these viruses in our gut than there are bacteria. While this type of therapy has been ignored in the USA, Russia has been studying it
for decades, and now Australia is on board. This may be our only hope for stopping the spread of the superbugs.

Everyone with blue eyes has the same ancestor
Researchers in Denmark have traced the genes for blue eyes back to a single mutation that took place 6000 to 10000 years ago. The main take away is appreciating how mother nature is constantly shuffling our genes around to see what will work and what won't.

Meditation, yoga, Tai Chi reverse DNA changes that produce ill health
Stress triggers the molecule NF kappa B to alter our genes to make inflammatory cytokines that speed aging and promote depression. Mind body activities reverse the stress response and decrease the levels of NF kappa B. This reverses the pro-inflammatory gene expression that drives inflammation based diseases.

Our address is 9725 Fair Oaks Blvd. suite A
Our hours are M - F 9 to 1 and M, Tu, & Th 3 to 6
Finding the new location is very easy. Coming from highway 50 up Sunrise Blvd, you turn left and go up a block. We are on the right hand side - the building just past the Subway Sandwich shop. If you are coming down Sunrise from the Mall area then just turn right on Fair Oaks Blvd and up a block on the right.
If you are coming from the Roseville area you could come down Sunrise Blvd, but that is a long trek. It is probably shorter time wise to come down Auburn Blvd - San Juan Ave like you have been for the Sunset office, but instead of turning left at Sunset, keep going straight 3 more lights to Fair Oaks Blvd and turn left. Go down 2 lights to New York Ave, go through the intersection, and immediately turn into the turn lane once the center
divider ends. We are on the left.
